1st Kings Langley Scout Group

Hemel Hempstead District Scouts, Hertfordshire

Scouting provides fun activities and adventures to young people, who are split into sections based on age. Beaver Scouts (6-8), Cub Scouts (8-10½), Scouts (10½-14), Explorer Scouts (14-18) and Scouts Network (18-25).

Adult Volunteer Leaders

Our Leaders are usually to be found in light beige shirts, beige polo shirts or our own dark green leaders’ shirts.  There is a Section Leader running each Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop with a team of Assistant Leaders, Section Assistants and Young Leaders.  Assistant Leaders wear the same uniform though Section Assistants do not wear a formal uniform.

All Scout Leaders are cleared by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).  They have undergone a structured programme of training including Safeguarding, and are qualified in first aid as First Responders.
